The first question everyone asks when hiring a marquee is 'How big does the tent need to be?' While we're happy to assist you in planning your special event, the chart you will find below will answer most of your questions. We also have several sample marquee layouts to assist you. Once you know the dimensions of your marquees, our Online Catalogue will show you our marquees and everything else you need to start planning your event right now!

The following are general guidelines for marquee capacities for different styles of events. Dimensions are provided below in both feet and metres. To see how capacity can vary with different layouts and setups, please see our sample Marquee Layouts gallery.

Marquee Capacity: In Metres

Accolade's marquees are hired in three-metre increments, and can be put together in almost any configuration you like. Additional porticos, windows and gable ends can all be added to our base hire configurations as well.
     

Once you have determined the size of your marquee, you can visit our Online Catalogue for our current hire charges. You will find the square metres measurement useful when selecting your flooring and other accessories.

Marquee Capacity: In Feet

Some customers still prefer to visualise space in old-fashioned feet, so here is the table from above in footage. Please note that you will still need to select the corresponding metric size in order to hire the correct marquee!
